This presentation is deeply personal and stems from a troubling experience my daughter endured with an online predator. The core aim of my presentation is to illuminate the significant, lasting effects minor online interactions can have on a child's psychological wellbeing. I intend to argue for a more empathetic response from local law enforcement agencies towards such incidents. I also aim to highlight a crucial gap in parental awareness regarding the online risks their children face. By telling our story, I hope to encourage education to improve preventative measures. It's crucial that parents and authorities are better informed and actively work to fight against online child exploitation. This presentation is not just a recount of a personal ordeal but a call to action, urging for a collective effort to safeguard our children's mental health and security in the digital age.
